Created in the late 20th century, this David Webb double giraffe sweetheart brooch is composed of enamel, emerald, rubies, and diamonds, mounted in 18K gold. It is designed as two giraffes with cabochon ruby eyes and diamond ears and tails, their opaque white enamel bodies with brown basse taille enamel spots and intertwined necks forming a heart motif, suspending a ropetwist necklace with pear shape cabochon drop. Beautifully enamelled by his in-house craftsperson, this conversation brooch expresses Webb's joyful humor, imagination and whimsy.
